Experience in Colorado

Seniors’ Resource Center

Before Golden Journeys, I worked with Seniors’ Resource Center, the Denver-area nonprofit that has helped older adults live with independence and dignity since 1978.

  • Driving

Door-through-door rides to doctor’s appointments, the grocery store, and everyday errands.

  • In-home help and companionship

Visits, errands, and an extra set of hands at home, plus a break for family caregivers.

  • Day program and events

Activities, outings, and community events with the day program in Evergreen.

That work taught me the small things that matter most: a steady arm on the steps, a patient pace, and the same friendly face every week.

Running Home · Summer 2026

79 days. 2,000 miles. One support van.

This summer I was crew chief for Running Home, my friend Collin Chartier’s run across America from Colorado to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., raising money for the Herren Project.

I drove the support van and trailer and handled everything off the road: scouting each day’s route, finding camp, keeping the schedule and the rest breaks, and watching out for safety. It is the same care I bring to every client. Plan every detail, keep the routine steady, and never leave someone’s side.

“Kevin drove the van, planned every stop, and made sure I actually rested. I ran the miles. Kevin got me home.”

Meet Kevin

Some people are born with wanderlust in their veins. I was born with jet fuel.

I grew up one of six kids in a family where both parents were pilots. I earned my pilot’s license at 16 and finished airplane mechanic school right after high school. But the most important lessons came from caring for my sister, who has cerebral palsy, being the go-to person for the elderly neighbors on my street, and raising two incredible kids.

Age and disability shouldn’t mean the end of adventure. They should just mean better planning and the right companion.

Company ethos

I believe travel is more than seeing new places. It’s about unforgettable moments, real connection, and remembering that every human soul is part of one shared journey.

My mission is to bring people together through laughter, adventure, and discovery, making every trip not just safe but deeply meaningful. At the core, I hold this truth:

all humans are one.

No matter where you come from or where you’re going, you belong here. With open hearts, curiosity, and care, we create a travel experience that feels like family, no matter where the road leads.
